"Practical Strategies for Professional Organizers: Helping Clients with Procrastination" CEU Credit

This one-hour presentation gives professional organizers a basic understanding of the universal problem of procrastination, as well as the many individual "styles" of delayed action/decision-making that impact the client-organizer relationship. Emphasis is on positive techniques for helping clients work toward solutions with regard to their time and space challenges.


Julie is an adult educator with a special interest in teaching time management and organization to creative people at retreats, conferences and other classroom settings. She brings her experience in adult education, editing and reporting, and her interest in all things domestic with her into the classroom or home, with the goal of providing new skills and ideas to each individual. In the past, she has presented workshops for the International Quilt Festival, Schoolhouse Craft, and a variety of community education settings. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). Her family of four lives in Seattle with an irrepressible dachshund named Gretchen.
