Melanie has owned and operated S.O.S. by Melanie - Stage, Organize & Senior Move Management - for the past nine years.

She is an Accredited Staging Professional Master and a Certified Relocation and Transition Specialist (CRTS), helping seniors transition to smaller living areas or age in place. She is a Clear & Simple TM Certified Organizer, National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) member, an Accredited Professional Stage Designer (APSD), and SAR (Staging and Re-Design) trained by Matthew Finlansen of HGTV's "The Stager."

Previously, she spent 29 years working as an Executive VP, Senior VP and VP with Wachovia (formerly Prudential), Fidelity Investments, Salomon Smith Barney (transistioned from EFHutton), and Schwab, specializing in national and regional branch management and marketing, strategic planning and implementation, national sales and Certified Financial Planner.

A graduate of Wharton's SIA Executive 3-Year Program, Melanie and her husband Walt raise and train capuchin monkeys for Helping Hands, a non-profit organization that trains and places monkeys with the severely disabled.
