NAPO Seattle Area Chapter is pleased to open its application process for its 2020 GO Month Day of Service. Applicants must be a registered 501(c)3 corporation within King County. Our application deadline is Friday February 14, 2020. You can download a paper application or apply online.

In 2016, in honor of January, Get Organized Month(TM), our chapter provided a day of organizing personpower to GayCity in Seattle. GayCity promotes wellness in LGBTQ communities by providing health services, connecting people to resources, fostering arts, and building community.  Seven organizers provided 32 hours of work. Others had already assessed GayCity's needs, and put in many hours qualifying several initial applicants. We wish to particularly thank Catherine Jewett, who coordinated every aspect of this project.

“We were very grateful to have the assistance of the volunteers who helped clean up and organize our storage space. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. It was a joy to work with them.

The process of going through with things, especially with the site visit and follow up recommendations, was simple and straightforward. In fact, I've mentioned it to several colleagues at other agencies, so hopefully you and/or your members will see some business come from it.

Thanks again for everything!”

And we are equally proud of our many other projects over time.
