"We change lives and communities by custom designing and fully furnishing home interiors for individuals, families and veterans emerging from homelessness.
We assist the transformation of lives in Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, San Diego, and Seattle."
We learned 4/25/2023 that Humble Design unexpectedly must leave their space at the end of this month, so we have to postpone our volunteer event. When they move into their new space they'll be delighted to have us come and help them set up, but they don't know where they're moving to yet. We will keep everyone posted on a future reschedule.
In future, our Chapter will be participating in several projects:
● Categorizing and organizing donations
● Reorganizing storage racks - areas such as kid’s toys
● Categorize and increase visibility of artwork
● Processing bedding, curtains and furniture and bedding
● Labeling
● Bedding - measure, roll, and label
● Micro-organize the supplemental kid’s section
We are pleased to also offer our members a chance to bring donations in support of Humble Design: think about what people need to set up a home - kitchen items, bedding, decor, art, kids items, lighting, furniture, etc. Higher quality items are appreciated.
THIS EVENT IS OPEN ONLY TO CHAPTER MEMBERS. PLEASE SPEAK TO OUR DIRECTOR OF MEMBERSHIP, VAL GREEN, info@NAPOWAState.org, FOR FURTHER DETAILS OR TO SIGN UP.
We pride ourselves on being a cohesive, positive, enthusiastic group. Brainstorming and idea sharing are encouraged. All meetings begin on time with the intention of ending on time, and we abide by the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO) Anti-Trust Compliance Policy during all chapter events. NAPO expects attendees to take responsibility themselves for following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and their local health officials, on measures to reduce infection from COVID-19 and to protect against severe complications.
