Join us for an empowering event led by Dr. Anna Chang, Doctor of Physical Therapy, board-certified licensed physical therapist, and certified personal trainer with over 8 years of experience teaching self-defense. As the owner of Onsight Physical Therapy in Tacoma and a Krav Maga expert, our host will guide participants through an open discussion on the challenges and safety concerns organizers face. Together, we will create a personalized safety plan, share tips on how to prepare when entering unfamiliar spaces, and learn essential self-defense techniques. The session will include hands-on practice of foundational exercises, with an emphasis on navigating cluttered environments to ensure safety.

• Doctor of physical therapy, a board-certified licensed physical therapist, and a certified personal trainer
• Trained in krav maga and has taught self defense for +8 years
• Owns a physical therapy business, Onsight Physical Therpay in Tacoma.  

• Open discussion with the group - what we face as organizers, what safety means to us
• As a group - come up with a safety plan, sharing all our best tips for preparing to enter strangers' homes, what to pay attention to, etc. (sharing our location with a loved one, looking for the exits, etc.)
• Teaching foundational training exercises to learn how to defend ourselves
• Practicing techniques with the use of obstacles to showcase how we can stay safe in cluttered environments
